I am a language educator, translator, and literary scholar specializing in global speculative fiction. I hold a PhD in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University, where I taught in the French and Spanish sections.

I believe that reading well translates to treating each other well, and I aim to demonstrate this through my research and pedagogy as a scholar of the Weird.
